A club that dines together every month, with a guest chef, needs to know who is coming, who they are bringing, what nobody at the table can eat, and who has paid. Marmitons is where the members sign up, bring guests and see what they owe — and where the committee and the treasurer keep the evening in order.

Evenings and the waiting list

Sign up with your dietary notes. Once the evening is full you go on the waiting list, and it moves up by itself when someone cancels.

Guests

Add your partner directly, or invite a friend by email and let them confirm for themselves. The limit per member is set evening by evening.

Paying, outside the app

You pay the treasurer the way the club already works. The treasurer marks it paid in the app, and every change is logged with who made it.

Works without a signal

The last list of evenings and your registrations stay on the phone, shown with how old they are. Signing up or cancelling needs a connection, and the app says so.

By invitation

Only members can sign in, so the app is not listed in App Store search: the club sends its members the link. The privacy page says exactly what the club’s server keeps.

Marmitons is at version 0.1, in internal testing. It will not appear in App Store search: members receive the link from the club.
