The Spartito app icon: a receipt with coloured lines

Spartito

Everyone plays their part.

A trip, a shared flat, a couple, a dinner out: Spartito keeps the group’s expenses, shows who owes whom, and splits a bill item by item. No limits, no ads, no account.

Six ways to split
Equally, by amounts, by percentages, by shares (a couple counts two, a child half), with adjustments for the dessert someone added, or item by item, with tax and tip in proportion. Tap someone to leave them out of an expense. The cents always add up to the amount.
Every currency
An expense keeps its own currency and is converted at the European Central Bank’s reference rate of its day, kept with it. Offline, the last rates downloaded are used, or you type the rate.
Fewer transfers
Spartito simplifies the debts so the group settles up in as few payments as possible, and polite reminders, at most one a week, tell you when a balance has been waiting.
Settling up, without touching your money
Spartito never moves money. It offers the ways people pay each other where you live: it opens PayPal, Revolut, Wise, Venmo, Cash App or Monzo with the name, and the amount where the service allows it, or copies the details of an Interac e-Transfer, a Lydia, a Bizum, a Pix or an IBAN for you. Then mark it paid.
Friends without an iPhone
Send a link or show a QR code: guests open the group in their browser, on Android or a computer, in thirteen languages, with no app and no account. They see the expenses and the balances, add an expense, mark a payment and claim their items. Friends with an iPhone share the group through iCloud.
Table mode
Photograph the bill: it is read on the iPhone, item by item, with the taxes and the tip. Everyone claims what they had, on their own phone or in their browser, and each share appears as they go. A foreign receipt gets its currency, its date and its items translated.
Coming from another app
Bring your groups from Splitwise, Tricount or Settle Up from their CSV export, with the same balances, and export yours as CSV whenever you like. A group can start from a Bivio trip or a Cerchia circle, and its balance shows in Bivio, Ritrovo and Mescita.
Everywhere you are
iPhone and iPad, the Apple Watch for your balances and a quick expense, widgets, a Live Activity while a table is open, Siri and Shortcuts.
Free for good, and what Pro adds
Free, with no limits and no ads: groups, members and expenses, the six ways to split, currencies, guests, settling up, import and export. Pro, for life or by the year and shared with your family, adds Table mode, foreign receipts, recurring expenses, a kitty paid in advance, a budget with an alert, splitting by income, statistics and search, the final score as a PDF and an image, and other app icons. One Pro is enough for the whole group, web guests included.
What the guest service keeps
Only the groups you open to guests by a link, never a receipt photo, erased when you close the link or after 90 days without use. No account, no telemetry. The privacy page lists every connection.

Thirteen languages: English, French, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Russian, Arabic and Chinese (Simplified).
