Privacy — Soglia
Last updated 14 October 2026
The principle
Soglia makes a link-in-bio page on your iPhone or iPad and publishes it at soglia.nidello.ca, so anyone can read it in a browser. No ads, no tracking, no analytics about you. A public page has to live on the web, so unlike most Nidello apps, Soglia has a service of ours: it keeps what you publish, the counts of your page and nothing else. It is listed in full below. It keeps no request log and does not know your name or your email address.
What the app keeps
Soglia records what you put into it:
- your pages and their drafts: name, title, bio, blocks, links, theme and translations
- the photos and images you add to a page
- your settings, and the statistics and form messages it shows you
Where it lives
Drafts and settings stay on your device and, if iCloud is on, in your own private iCloud database (CloudKit, run by Apple), which we cannot open. What you publish leaves the device for our page service, described under “What leaves the device”: that is the point of publishing.
What it asks permission for
Every one of these is optional. Refuse any of them and the rest of the app keeps working.
- Sign in with Apple
- Only to publish. Soglia receives Apple’s opaque identifier for you and never asks for your name or your email; the relay email Apple can offer is neither requested nor kept.
- Camera
- Only when you take a photo for your page.
- Photo library, add only
- To save your page’s QR code to your photos when you ask. Soglia cannot see your library; the photos you choose for a page come through the system picker.
- NFC
- To write your page’s address on an NFC tag when you ask.
- iCloud
- To sync your drafts between your devices, through your own iCloud account.
What leaves the device
The app has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party kit of any kind. What it does send, it sends only to the services below, and only for what you asked it to do:
- Our page service, soglia.nidello.ca
- A Cloudflare Worker, on Cloudflare’s free plan, with no request log and no telemetry. Cloudflare hosts it and processes the data on our behalf. It keeps only what follows.
- Your account
- The opaque identifier from Sign in with Apple, hashed before it is stored: never the identifier itself, never your Apple email, never your name.
- Your published pages
- The pages you publish and their images, so anyone can read them. A published page is public by nature: do not put on it what you would not show everyone.
- Your statistics
- Counts added up per page, per day, per link, per referring site (its domain only, such as instagram.com) and per country (from the country header Cloudflare adds to each request). No cookies, no IP address kept, no visitor identifier, no request log. These are your page’s numbers, not ours.
- Forms and collected emails (Pro)
- What a visitor sends through a form on your page — the name, email and message they choose to type — is kept for you to read in the app, for 12 months at most, or until you delete it. No email is sent by the service.
- Your Pro status
- The proof of purchase the App Store signs (the signed transaction), and Apple’s renewal notices, to know whether your pages have Pro. Apple handles the payment; we receive no payment details.
- Reports
- When a visitor reports a page: the reason, the details they type, the language and the date. Nothing about who reported it.
- Abuse limits
- To slow down abuse, Cloudflare counts requests per address for a short moment, under a hashed key that we never store. Links are checked when you publish against public lists of dangerous domains that the service downloads every day: no address is sent to anyone to check it.
- Translation
- Your page is translated on your device, by Apple’s Translation framework, when you save it. Nothing is sent to us or to another service to translate it.
- Importing a page
- To import from Linktree, Beacons or Lnk.Bio, your device reads the public page you name, directly. Nothing goes through Nidello.
- People who visit your page
- A visitor’s browser gets the page from our service, which counts the visit and the taps on links as described above, and nothing more: no cookies, no tracking, no identifier. Video and music players from YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Spotify or Apple Music load only after the visitor taps them; from that moment, that provider’s own privacy policy applies. A link takes the visitor to the site it names.
Only what is listed above under our page service reaches us. Our only processor is Cloudflare, which hosts the service. What a page may carry is set by the content policy.
Your data is yours
Export your page as a file and your statistics as CSV whenever you want, free or Pro. Delete a page and it leaves the web, with its images, statistics and messages. Delete your account in the app and your pages, images, statistics and messages are erased from our service right away. Drafts stay on your device and in your iCloud until you delete them there. If Pro ends, nothing is deleted: your pages stay online with the free features.
Children
Soglia is not directed at children. Our service knows no one’s name, age or email, except what a visitor chooses to type into a page’s form.
Changes to this page
If the app ever starts doing something this page does not describe, this page changes first. The date at the top says when it last did.
Your rights
Quebec’s Law 25, Canada’s PIPEDA and similar laws elsewhere give you the right to access, correct and delete the personal information a business holds about you. For Soglia, you can do it yourself in the app: your pages, your statistics and your messages are there, and deleting your account erases them from our service. A visitor who sent a message through a page can ask its author, or write to us. Any question: [email protected].
